A spherical washer is a specially shaped washer designed to compensate for angular misalignment between the bolt and the contact surface. It consists of a convex (male) washer that mates with a concave (female) washer, allowing the fastener to seat correctly and maintain even load distribution under angled or uneven surfaces.
